Tytuł: Which Linux Distribution is Best for My Old Laptop?
Wiadomość wysłana przez: favohem w Styczeń 30, 2025, 09:09:54 AM
Hello

I have an aging laptop with limited hardware resources & I'd like to breathe new life into it by switching to Linux. However; I'm not sure which distribution would be the best fit. I'm looking for something lightweight, stable, and easy to use, preferably with good community support.

My main usage includes web browsing, document editing & occasional multimedia playback. I don't need advanced features, but I'd like a system that's responsive and doesn't slow down over time. I've heard of options like Linux Mint XFCE, Lubuntu, and antiX, but I'm not sure which would be ideal for my case. I have checked https://forum.linuxiarze.pl/index.php/board,34.0.htmlSelenium documentation guide for reference .

Could anyone with experience recommend a good beginner-friendly distribution that runs well on older hardware? Also, any tips on optimizing performance would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you !
