Witam,
problem dotyczy 2 komputerów ze zintegrowaną grafiką intel, przewijanie okna przeglądarki już wskazuje na problem z grafiką (nie jest płynne) a obraz filmowy youtube lub inny jest już pocięty przy bardziej skomplikowanych ujęciach jak para/mgła i gwałtowny ruch kamery w bok.
Proszę o podpowiedź w jaki sposób ten problem rozwiązać czy potrzeba a jeśli tak to w jaki sposób zainstalować sterowniki. Procesory J3160 oraz G3930. Linux Mint oraz Manjaro.

Jakie środowisko graficzne?
Zjawisko nazywa się tearing.

Dograj compton i dodaj do autostartu compton -b . Powinno pomóc. Aby compton zadziałał, trzeba wyłączyć kompozytor w Usprawnieniach menadżera okien (lub czymś podobnym z nazwy). Można przetestować od razu, wpisując w terminal compton, co powinno od razu przełączyć na niego. Na YT są filmiki typu "tearing test".

Dodam tylko, że warto utworzyć/zmodyfikować plik konfiguracyjny comptona. Przykładowe położenie pliku/home/user/.config/compton.conf
gdzie user należy zastąpić właściwą nazwą użytkownika.

U mnie zawartość compton.conf wygląda tak:

Ja również dzisiaj zainstalowałem Compton-a w Manjaro Xfce, i muszę przyznać że gdy uruchamiam jakiś program, to otwiera mi się okno tak bardziej płynnie, a nie tak topornie jak wcześniej.

Mam również podobny problem. Brak synchronizacji głosu i obrazu na YoyTube i przycinanie obrazu przy szybszych ujęciach bądź częstych zmianach ujęć. Generalnie dynamiczne sceny rwą się. W trybie pełnoekranowym to już w ogóle porażka.

Ten z "podpisu"? Ja bym mu na pewno wstawił nowszy system, bo Mint 17.2 (najnowszy z tej linii to 17.3) ma swoje podstawy w Ubuntu 14.04 sprzed ponad 4 lat.

Tak to ten z podpisu. System jest mi obojętny byle nie był to Windows. Na laptopie mam Kubuntu i działa bezproblemowo pomimo wieku komputera. Wgrałem minta bo czytałem że lekki , że fajny, że bezproblemowy. Jeżeli zmiana systemu pomoże to tylko proszę o propozycję.

Jeśli zaproponowany przeze mnie wcześniej Compton nie pomógł to możesz jeszcze :

1. Zmienić środowisko graficzne. Xfce ze swoim xfwm nie radzi sobie z synchronizacja pionową.

2. Spróbować rozwiązania opisanego przeze mnie tu:

Ostrzeżenie. Słyszałem, że potrafi to "posypać" xorg, ale u mnie działa.

3. Skoro używasz Firefoxa możesz wymusić layers.acceleration.force-enabled w about:config

Zainstalowałem mint-meta-mate. Czy uruchomi się automatycznie po restarcie czy muszę jeszcze wymusić uruchomienie ?
I pytanie nr 2.
Czy przyczyną łamania się obrazu może być monitor - a właściwie jego rozdzielczość ?
Komputer podłączony jest do telewizowa 50". Z automatu wybrał rozdzielczość 3840 x 2160 (16:9 )

Przy logowaniu należy wybrać środowisko MATE. Przyczyną tearingu jest to, że sobie środowisko nie radzi i trzeba je wspomóc.

Przy logowaniu nie mam żadnej opcji do wyboru. Startuje tak samo jak startował. Wygląda jak wyglądał. Żadnych zmian.

Jest. ok. Najpierw napisałem później poszukałem. Mea culpa. Uruchomiłem MATE. Nic to nie poprawiło a mam wrażenie że działa jeszcze gorzej. Jutro zmienię system na  Mint 19. Chyba że macie jakieś inne propozycje, które działają lepiej.

Zainstalowałem Mint 19. Wszystko śmiga ładnie. Żadnych przycięć czy braku synchronizacji. Mój problem rozwiązany. Dziękuję za wszelką pomoc.
