Witam,
Wczoraj postanowiłem zainstalować sobie linuxa "ubuntu 16.04 LTS" z płytki dołączonej wraz z Komputer Światem (ta gazetka o nowinkach technologicznych). Dodam jeszcze że nie miałem wtedy internetu w laptopie ponieważ wifi mi nie działało - miałem tylko mobilny z telefonu więc tak nie bardzo ściągać sterowniki itp...
Miałem mały problem z podziałem partycji ale w końcu udało mi się przejść dalej.
Ubuntu zainstalowałem obok Windowsa 10.
I nie było problemu po za tym że nie miałem możliwości połączenia się do tego mobilnego - po prostu nie wykrywało mi żadnych sieci wokół pomimo że kilka ich było - w bloku.....
no dobra to odpalam windowsa i szperam na forum znalazłem że trzeba włączyć broadcom czy jakoś tak ale ja miałem to włączone więc postanowiłem wyłączyć i włączyć jeszcze raz - po wyłączeniu linuxiątko poprosiło o zresetowanie kompa no to się zgodziłem włączam ponownie i już nie było opcji Broadcom do włączenia.
Nie wiem co robić - kiedyś korzystałem z linuxa ale to na VirtualBoxie i to tylko tak bardzej dla zabawy
Proszę o pomoc.
Z góry bardzo dziękuję za odpowiedzi.
PS: Jak brakuje jakiś informacji to proszę napisać czego i jak to mam sprawdzić i podać

Witaj. Miewam podobne problemy z kartą wifi Broadcom. W niektórych dystrybucjach sterowniki są zablokowane i trzeba edytować czarne listy, w innych wystarczy doinstalować sterownik z repozytorium. W tym celu uruchom internet przez ethernet (kabelek do routera) i w menedżerze oprogramowania wyszukaj sterownik "broadcom-sta-dkms". Zainstaluj niecnotę i po restarcie będzie wifi. W razie problemów można też korzystać z podstawowego sterownika "b43" ktory również znajduje się w repozytorium. Pozdrawiam.
p.s. zapomniałem, że w Ubuntu można również uruchomić program "Dodatkowe sterowniki" który odwali całą robotę. Trzeba go wyszukać w menu (chyba) " system -> administracja".

w "oprogramowanie i aktualizacje" w zakładce "dodatkowe sterowniki" broadcom cośtam na nie używanie urządzenia.

Witam,podepnę się pod wątek jakoż że też nie mam internetu po lanie i wifi.
Mam laptopa Dell Vostro 1700 miałem zainstalowany obok windowsa7-Ubuntu Mate 16.04LTS,ale po roku użytkowania zaktualizowałem go na 17.04 przez kabel LAN podłączony do lapka albowiem wii-fii mi nie działało.Nadmienię tylko ze na win7 internet po kablu czy wii-fii (na usb) jest,a na Mate żadnego.Walczę z tym kilka dni i nic nie mogę zrobić,pomoże ktoś.

Zamontowałem Ubuntu Mate 17.04 na pendrive'a i z USB odpaliłem lapka.Internet po kablu działa,natomiast nie działał po wii-fii ale to tak na szybko sprawdzałem bo spieszyłem się do pracy.
No więc sprawdziłem to dzisiaj rano i wiifii nie działa na Ubuntu,nadmienię tylko ze karta wiifii jest na USB: 802.11n USB Wireless LAN Card,producent-Ralink Technology, Corp.,dostawca sterownika-MediaTek, Inc.,korzystam z tej karty dlatego że wiifii wbudowane w laptop nie działało mi od samego początku jak tylko go zakupiłem.
Podstawowe pytanie: dlaczego system używa ndiswrapper do obsługi twojego wifi?
Spróbuj wyładować ten moduł i uruchomić właściwy (jeśli sterownik jest zainstalowany):
sudo modprobe -r ndiswrapper
sudo modprobe iwl3945
Te powyższe komendy nic nie dały,poniżej parę komend i co wypluwają,może ktoś mnie nakieruje na właściwy trop.Nadmienię że sam sobie namieszałem ze sterownikami do wiifii instalując kilkukrotnie sterowniki z pod winebrowser,tak mi się wydaje.
A najlepiej było by wywalić chyba wszystkie sterowniki z jakiegoś folderu Ubuntu Mate,tylko gdzie one są?

Przy uruchamianiu Linuxa po wejściu w Gruba i uruchomienia Ubuntu za pomocą:Linux 4.10.0-28-generic internet po kablu jest,natomiast nie ma wi-fi.
Gdy uruchomię Ubuntu za pomocą:Linux 4.10.0-35-generic nie ma żadnego internetu.
