Witam mam taki problem z menadżerem drukarek, drukarka mi coś szwankowała i w ustawieniach klikłem coś jak historia drukowania (nie wiem teraz dokładnie bo nie umiem wejść w ustawienia ) Teraz jak kliknę w centrum sterowania w drukarki to mam tylko opcję połącz później połącz z serwerem i takie coś /run/cups/cups.sock a jak już dam połącz to wyskakuje komunikat błąd serwera CUPS. Nie mam pojęcia jak to mam przywrócić do stanu pierwotnego?
W przeglądarce wpisz: localhost:631 i sprawdź co jest grane, skonfiguruj drukarkę, ewentualnie usuń ją i ponownie dodaj. Możesz też sprawdzić logi serwera. Jeśli nie pomoże prosta konfiguracja, przeinstalowanie, to poprosimy o te logi, bo z opisu wynika: zrobiłem coś - pomóżcie przywrócić prawidłowe działanie :)
Aha - sprawdź, czy masz podniesioną usługę org.cups.cupsd.service i/lub socket.
PS: Podany plik w /run/ ma być.
W przeglądarce pokazuje mi komunikat Serwer localhost odrzucił połączenie. Drukarki nie mogę dodać nic nie mogę zrobić nie mogę nawet wejść w ustawienia. Jak nacisnę w centrum sterowania drukarki mogę się tylko połączyć ale ale właśnie nie umiem.

Weż odinstaluj CUPS i ponownie zainstaluj. Namieszałeś coś okropnie.
Wpisałem
sudo apt-get remove cups
sudo apt-get install cups
i nic się nie zmieniło
Pokaż logi. Bez tego to jest zgadywanka.
Ale właśnie nie wiem jak te logi się pokazuje ?
Już wyżej Ci napisałem. Nadto masz pliki w /var/log/cups, chyba nie trudno je znaleźć.
Ogólnie jednak - pomyśl i przypomnij sobie co spieprzyłeś i przedstaw.

Niewiele ciekawego w tym jest. Mogę tylko napisać, to ja bym zrobił.
1. Usunął z poziomu panelu sterowania CUPS drukarkę a następnie ponownie ją zainstalował i skonfigurował.
2. Jeśłi nie pomoże - odinstalował sterownik drukarki, ponownie zainstalował - dalej jw. (zainstalowanie w CUPS, konfiguracja).
3. Jeśli i to nie pomoże - odinstalowanie CUPS, odinstalowanie sterownika i ponowna ich instalacja, a następnie podniesienie usługi CUPS, instalacja i konfiguracja drukarki.
Innych pomysłów - brak.

Zainstalowałem teraz wirtualnego linux mint i już wiem co zrobiłem.
Teraz w wirtualnym systemie jak klikniesz w centrum sterowania i drukarki jest dodaj drukarkę a ja mam połącz z serwerem tak jak to było przedstawione w wcześniejszych zdjęciach.
Wszedłem w ustawienia w tym okienku co dodajesz drukarkę tam jeszcze klikłem zaawansowane i zaznaczyłem pierwsze od góry nie zachowuj historii i stało się takie coś
Usunąłem cups z całymi katalogami, później zainstalowałem i mam tylko jeden plik z eroor_log

Jasne, że się nie nauczysz, ale trzeba cokolwiek wiedzieć i być świadomym tego co się robi. Te najbardziej ogólne zasady są takie:
1. używaj konta root wyłącznie wówczas, gdy musisz i wyłącznie do działań, których znaczenie znasz,
2. nie dokonuj ręcznej ingerencji tam, gdzie za nią odpowiada system paczek, chyba, że doskonale wiesz co robisz i jest to bezwzględnie konieczne (czyt. to co wolno użytkownikowi jest w jego katalogu domowym, w pewnym uproszczeniu - wszystkie inne pliki, katalogi powstają w wyniku działania instalacji paczek; jeśli nie chcesz rozwalić sobie systemu - nie ruszaj, bowiem w przeciwnym przypadku na początku menedżer paczek może odmówić współpracy; nadto niemal nikt nie będzie Ci w stanie w jakikolwiek sposób pomóc),
3. jeśli dokonujesz cokolwiek z uprawnieniami roota, to - nawet wówczas, gdy wiesz co robisz - rób to z należytą uwagą.
